I have a wonderful new addition to the Captivating Sistas Team, Ona, who will be writing tutorials for the blog here!!
Here is an intro from Ona . . .
Hi there! My name is Ona, known as wombat146 around digi-land. I live in Australia on a small property with my partner of 28 years and one pesky little Fox Terrier. As well as having 4 grown up children I also have 8 delightful grandchildren who are the main stars of my digital scrapping, especially my three granddaughters.
Late in 2008 I ‘discovered’ digital scrapping after being a paper scrapper for a couple of years prior. Like a lot of people, I have a craft room full of scrapping paper, glues, stamps, ribbons, brads etc. Just can’t find the will power to get rid of it all!
I LOVE the versatility of digital scrapping and the many effects that can be achieved…………I am hopelessly addicted to blending and love to try out new techniques and different ways of doing things! My scrapping style is varied and it just depends on what type of mood I am in when I sit down to scrap, and what kit I am using and of course the type of photograph I am scrapping. I can go from artsy to traditional to fantasy in a heartbeat!
In real life I am a software trainer for a large power utility as well developing and designing training materials and user guides. I have utilised my training background to write and develop a series of tutorials using Photoshop Elements to scrap with products by Captivated Visions at Scrapbook Graphics. I hope you will join me on this journey of creative discovery!
Isn't she amazing?!
We've got a new tutorial for you today, the tutorials are written with step by step instructions for Photoshop Elements but because they are so detailed you should be able to translate them for Photoshop and other programmes. Leave us a comment with any questions and we'll do our best to help you!
This week we are playing with Brushes and painting on masks! Ona has created this wonderfully artsy and blended layout using the techniques in her tutorial!
